It's been a month!

Can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted.

A lot has happened. I've finished school and am holidays as of today. I'm saying holidays, but I have resigned meaning I am now without a job! Luckily I get paid up til the end of the year so no desperate measures yet. What I am worried about is finding a job I want to do. There haven't been many advertised in the area I want to work in. I have applied for about 4 jobs, haven't got an interview for any and one of them I'm hopeful but am still waiting to hear about. I feel that I have a really good skills base, but your confidence gets knocked after a while. I hate to think that some of the jobs I'm applying may already be filled and the application process is a formality - it's such a waste of everybody's time.

Onto other news, last few weeks of school went well. Our production of Narnia was fantastic and the girls made me very proud. I now have about 4 exhibition opportunities available to me next year which is very exciting. However, I am going to have to work very hard the next couple of months if I'm going to be ready for all of them.

We plan to go down to Bunbury for Christmas and Margaret River with friends for New Years. It hasn't sunk in that it's holidays yet...

We have just clicked over to daylight savings here and it is the first time in about 15 years that we've had it. I'm enjoying it, but it is taking a bit of getting used to. When I look outside, I now have no idea what the time is at anytime of day.
