POI!

Pictures of me with my flag Poi.

More Icy Creek

Above is the camp of the dickheads who told us we weren't meant to be there. Then spent most of the night yelling and swearing at each other after taking over all 6 cabins. o.O

Here is a picture of James trying to get the frisbee off the roof.

This is James using my LED poi.

Here is Judy and I, battling it out in the Gaytime Challenge(TM). She is riding a broom horse whilst galloping. Pity she didn't beat my awesome time and had to eat the GAYTIME!!

Springtime

It is holidays and I have the pleasure of sitting at the computer, eating mango chicken meatballs and staring out at my beautiful seduction roses. Ahh.

I finally have photos of Icy Creek to post and some poi pics!
Above is Judy paddling her canoe on a very small lake.

Next is the rotunda where we slept aound the fire.

Here is a picture of my first go on Judy's Canoe. Note the blue crocs.

Icy Creek

We had a great long weekend down in Dwellingup this weekend. We stayed at a place called Icy Creek. Apart from the fact that the creek was a mere trickle, I was great.

We arrived and started unpacking our food into the solar powered fridge, when one of the other guests comes in.

"What are you doing here?"
We wait.
"You do not have booking. You cannot be here."
We explained that we had booked and that everything was legit. He went on to lecture us about how he had come here with his family the last five years in a row and had booked out the whole place for the 15 of them. Finally he conceded that we could share. Gave us permission to stay as long as we didn't mind them having a little fun. Little did we know that a 'little fun' meant spreading themselves out into all of the six cabins (Each sleeps 8-12), getting ridiculously drunk, and the yelling at each other into the wee hours of the morning. Nice family. And they do this every year??

So now they have been black listed because the ranger and his wife who live nearby were not pleased either.

Other than that, we had a great time. Cooked up sumptuous meals. Poi practice. Plus Golden Gaytime Challenge. Judy and Paul went into town for more firewood and returned with 4 'Heaven' icecreams and one 'Golden Gaytime.' Of course we had to fight it out for who would have to eat the Gaytime. A competition of Olympic proportion ensued, including Haiku writing, broomhorse racing and poi demonstrations.

Monday we left early so the ranger should kick out the other 'guests' without us being in the way and after bacon and egg burgers, we went for a leisurely canoe down the Murray. Very nice.

Photos later.
