Long Weekend!!

Today is the first day of my long weekend. I won't be back at work til Wednesday. Woohoo!! Picking James up from the airport today. Don't really have any plans - will see how he's feeling. We're going to York next weekend as my belated birthday present to him. It will be nice to go on a little adventure...Although he has just been on a big one...no matter. We are staying here http://www.favershamhouse.com.au
Looks nice!

I have some news about the art exhibition on my other blog,

Can you tell I just discovered the link button?

I've started a new piece of out using spirals as the focus. Looking good so far.
Alright, time to head off to my embroidery group.

Sydney

James has gone to Sydney for the week with work. I'll miss him but I am looking forward to having time playing at home. If only I didn't have to work... Busy week though, with work and art competition opening ceremony. No rehearsals though. I'm looking forward to getting lots of things made and chilling out.
I vacuumed and did washing so now the house is clean for the week - and only one person to make mess!

Here is the art I have just recently finished. There are more pics on my other blog -> see links!

Making chicken casserole for dinner tonight. Should do me for tomorrow as well. Going out Wednesday for my birthday! Woohoo!

Back to work

It is my second week back at work after a fortnight's holiday.
Some things are really lovely, like we've just started rehearsals for our show this semester and all the kids are really excited and working hard. So that good to be a part of. But then you have a day where all day long someone is being rude to you or giving you attitude. It makes for a really long day, and I just wanna say' "You do it then! I'll be in my office drinking latte."

So now I'm in two minds about leaving. There's so many pros and cons its complicated. Still, what have you got to lose by trying something new. A different job will also have rewards and perks. I have to keep reminding myself that I didn't really want to be a teacher. So its no biggie if I leave this and go do something else. I'll always have it and it will come in useful.
