Drumming and Fire Twirling

I went to a going away party for my drumming teacher on the weekend. We shared a communal meal and then got down to some drumming around the fire. I led everyone in a song which was a nice thing to be able to do and a couple of people were up and doing fire twirling. It's a really graceful thing to watch, kind of like dancing, which I hadn't thought about before.

Full Moon

Full moon this week.
Went to drumming on the beach on Tuesday night which was bloody cold, but nice. Just a smallish group of people this time. I finally know most of the songs - takes me ages to learn the lyrics. Of course I couldn't remember them once I got home.
But its nice sitting around a fire on the beach under the stars. Good to get away.
